Student bus shuttle services at the Tshwane University of Technology

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in collaboration with PURCO SA have initiated an open tender process that requests information from transportation operators, for the Provision of Bus Transportation Management Services for the University. The University aims to provide its students with a cost effective, efficient, service orientated, and user-friendly transport service between the various accommodation and education sites.

The Tshwane University of Technology, who has a footprint in five of the nine provinces in South Africa, required the bus transport services at their facilities situated in Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo. The services required in Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo Provinces relate to the transport of students between residences and campuses. These facilities are mainly situated in the Tshwane Metropolitan Area and include the residences and campuses in Pretoria, Soshanguve and Ga-Rankuwa. The services for Mpumalanga relate to the services at the eMalahleni Campus and the Mbombela Campus where the students are transported between CBD, residence and campuses.

The Tshwane University of Technology and PURCO SA congratulates Triponza Trading 548 CC, Pal and Sons Bus Services CC, Ikhwezi Bus Services (Pty) Ltd, Devine Instincts (Pty) Ltd and Mphakathi Tours CC, the service providers that were successful in the public tender process for the provision of student bus shuttle services for five (5) years at the Tshwane University of Technology.
